Combination Electrician/Plumber
I need a competent individual that is able to install a dual GFR outlet under the sink as well as remove an old dishwasher and install a new one sitting in my dining area. The current outlet is a single plug that accommodates the disposal, and the old dishwasher is hard wired.. The people from Hope Depot weren't able to do this task. I don't want to do the outlet. If anyone knows such a person, I would be sincerely grateful and can absolutely pay cash if that is required. Thank you, Fred.

Here's who I use.
https://doublelelectricalandservices.com/
The last time I called him, it took a couple of weeks before he could come out since he's been busy and short-handed.
One thing to be concerned about would be the amperage of the circuit breaker you want to add an outlet to. I doubt it would be a problem since the disposal only runs for a short time, but it's better to be safe.

Thank you! Before the code changed, requiring GFCI/AFCI separate protection, the way it is wired is fine. A 20-amp outlet will be fine, a 15amp close....so, yes 20 is perfect. I have time as it seems the installed dishwasher is ashamed of its new brother within staring distance and has now chosen to run and drain without issue. I think I will get a doily and make the new one a lamp prop.....

I will offer you the best advice ever.
Re-plumb your sink, remove the garbage disposal entirely.
Use a pair of these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006HXZQDA...t_details&th=1
The rest of the PVC you can get at home depot.
Use the left over power wire to power an under drain LED light.
Your plumber will love you.
Shoving sludge down your drain over time results in a $2.5K snake job of your main when it clogs and it will.
Adopting this new practice of not putting crap down the drain will result in maintenance free kitchen sink.
As far as GFCI, that is all a game.
If the ground comes loose or a potential develops anywhere between neutral and hot it will trip all the time.
If one is dumb enough to get in a bath tub with a hair dryer, it is better that they leave this world anyways.
Perfect democrat elimination plan LOL !

Since 1stCAV is deployed. Things have slowed down.
The name I gave you is a guy that specializes in home repairs. Usually rental houses. Several landlords keep his number handy. He's ridiculously cheap on his prices.

I got the PM, thank you and am on it. If Tom Dees of Symphony Homes were still alive, I would smack him in the head. The kitchen island has a disposal on a switched circuit. Well so does the dishwasher. I asked why is there a switch here and he replied so you can turn off the dishwasher so little kids won't mess with it. Now that I see what a clustertruck that wiring really is........The dishwasher is currently on hold as I just dumped a wad of cash into my truck and I feel like I am spending money like a drunken sailor right now.....when it rains it certainly pours....love you all and thanks, me.

Princess (me) doesn't put food in the disposal, I throw it in the trash can. Once upon a time when I first got to Texas there may have been an incident or two where beer was involved and an experiment to see just how crap one can pound in a disposal hole resulting in not one but two disposals being ruined. I haven't had to attend a jackass anonymous session in a long time, but I am still capable of some really stupid things....

I use a guy who does Mobile Home repairs, and he is really good. He got my island lights working in the kitchen without using a ballast. Guess that's because the new tubes are different. James Holverson is his name and his number is (254) 415-2215. He used to be a member in my Bible study class. He has put in a grab bar in my bathroom, and replaced my dishwasher and disposal. The thing about the disposal is true by the way. Use the trash can....
