    Is this a good deal?

    At Murdoch's.

They list the shotgun at $699 and the .22 is $250, so I guess the shotgun will be on sale at $450 and they'll throw in the .22.

I think it is a good deal. But then what do I know. I have a few Springfield arsenal guns and an MP 15-22. I like my SA .45.

I went to Murdoch's this morning and was told that the deal they sent to me was "wrong" and that they couldn't honor it. Funny, I received an email from Murdoch's as I was going there that said the same thing. The shotgun was $449 and a free .22. There's a screenshot of the email.

I got home and called corporate and she told me that they should be honoring out. She took my number and called me back a few minutes later and said that she called them and they said that they were honoring the deal.

A medical issue Wednesday afternoon/night prevented me from going yesterday, but I went today and bought them. Price was as advertised, $449 for the shotgun and the .22 was free.

I told my wife that if they felt like cheap toys, then I wouldn't buy them, but they felt solid and longer good too, so I got them.

I really like the "bronze" like finish on the plastic.

I took them out of the box and she held the .22 and she said, "I like how that feels, I think I'll claim that one"...lol

If the .22 is anything like mine, which I suspect it is, it is about the closest thing to an M-16 in operation and maintenance that one can get. I got mine, basically, because my wife understands how it works. And that is saying something for a woman who is totally confused by an AK 47.

I'm fine and BP is now back to normal. Thanks.

I fired the .22, it's like a mini M-16. Iron sights and all. Fun to shoot. Lightweight.

I may try the shotgun tonight.
