And to top it all off, some socialist congress critter from California (go figure) lambasted Bezos because of the money he spent on the launch. In other words, "Why didn't you give the money to me instead of spending it on something you wanted". The left has no shame, and they think that your money is their money. Personally, I am happy as heck that Bezos spent HIS money on something he wanted. Not giving it to government to give away to spend on giving it away to buy votes.

He employed a bunch of people to make the trip to space. To me, that?s helping the economy.

    I agree.

I just hope he doesn't start lecturing us about carbon footprints and how WE need to sacrifice in order to save the planet.

And after his trip he gave 100 million to a couple of people and told them to spend it as they see fit. His money, his use, his business. Walked away not saying a word, just a little grin. gotta love it.

A $100 million is chicken feed for someone worth $200 billion.

He did , after his trip, refer to the "thin blue envelope" of our atmosphere, and how we owe it to future generations to ensure it is still there. That is about as pro global warming as it gets... Without admitting it.

The Left doesn't want people traveling to space. First, a lot of hazardous material is dumped into the atmosphere during every space launch. Thought I read some years ago, that a few million gallons of ammonia are dumped into the air every time we send a space shuttle up...
And second, the Left says the sheer number of millions of dollars spent on space-related pursuits, could be better spent on helping those less fortunate...a billion here, a billion there...why not build a few thousand homeless shelters, or spend the money to feed starving people around the world?

The byproducts of the latest launch are supposedly water. According to Mr. Bezos the use of Hydrogen and Oxygen results in the output of water vapor. I suppose that would be a dangerous thing for dirty democrats. Who knows, they might get clean. Now... If we can just get a launch to produce some soap.

Sure is dangerous. It's known as di-hydrogen monoxide.
Even though it's a common beverage additive, it is also corrosive to many substances.
Breathing di-hydrogen monoxide can kill you, too.
    Gaseous di-hydrogen monoxide causes burns.
