Well, I missed it tonight because I was on CTT and the phone with the nursing home. They tell me the wife has been sleeping most of the day, which means she will be up all night. Oh joy for them.

I was surprised that no one wrote about the 5-planet alignment a few days ago. Is that such a regular phenomenon that it does not deserve coverage?

Maybe it's because it had been so cloudy.

Great show last night though. Plenty of hang time and it was bright with no clouds but a few not in the way.

Tonight's view...
Wed Nov 15, 6:54 PM 4 min 42? 10? above WSW 28? above N
Tomorrow's
Thu Nov 16, 6:06 PM 7 min 86? 10? above SW 10? above NE
The views could come with a bonus.
Astronauts dropped a tool bag during an ISS spacewalk, and you can see it with binoculars
To see it for yourself, first find out when you can find spot the space station over the next few months (NASA even has a new app to help you). The bag should be floating two to four minutes ahead of the station. As it descends rapidly, the bag is likely to disintegrate when it reaches an altitude of around 70 miles (113 kilometers) over Earth.

Now let's pray for cooperating cloud cover. Last night was OK....

Pretty good show last night.... High and pretty bright, but it got here a bit earlier than suggested.
