    Police K-9 Lando

I just ran across the story of the police K-9 who passed away. My heart goes out to the handler and family, the police department lost a valued member.
Lando is now waiting at the rainbow bridge to be reunited with his loved ones while being there with my Rasta and Sheba amongst all others who went to the bridge.

From the National Narcotics Deterctor Dog Association:

K9 Lando served Harker Heights Community for ten years. He was the first dual purpose police canine in Bell County.
Lando was one of the oldest working canine members of the NNDDA and was well known for his accomplishments in the NNDDA as well as his community.
Lando wil be missed by Harker Heights, the NNDDA, and his handler Gabrielle Guerra.
K9 Lando will be laid to rest on July 10th at 3 pm at the Harker Heights Police Dept.

He lived his life on duty and became a historical figure in Bell County. There are many fine canine souls awaiting him at the end of the Rainbow Bridge.
    Fair Well, Lando.
