Don't know what Corgifan expects for a national championship game. Was a good game, could have gone either way. Oregon had their chances.

It was a good game, but it was expected to be a high scoring game. I would love to see TCU play Auburn. May be someone could finally shut down Newton.

Oregon shut down Newton enough. Problem is, Auburn better shut down LaMichael James and Oregon.

I heard that Newton was actually playing hurt, something about his back.
I don't think that Oregon shut him down.

Held him to like 65 yards rushing. He got over 200 yards passing, but in this day and age that is only about average.
