Excessive Celebration...really?

Did anyone else catch the K State vs Syracuse game where the K State player was flagged for excessive celebration for a quick salute he made after scoring? I think the call was COMPLETELY bogus, especially in comparison to some of the other end zone celebrations that were going yesterday. Bad call Mr Ref, once again interfering with the game being decided on the field.
