I just discovered coconut water and all the benefits from the regular consumption of it. I am not a fan of bananas and needed potassium but would rather ingest in fruits or veggies and inquired as to what I could eat. I know that kiwi's are also high in potassium but found this discovery beneficial in many other ways also. Hope it helps.

Many people need to understand that too much potassium can screw up your kidneys real quick. A banana a day or glass of orange juice, or a glass of this coconut water, is all you need.

Another danger with coconut water is it's diuretic properties. Trying to rehydrate with it isn't a good idea, and giving it to an infant in lieu of pedialyte is a no no.
