Ok, this is not a housekeeping tip...but it is a tip....
And it sounds ridiculous, BUT I promise it works.
If you have a splinter that is too deep to get out, put a piece of bacon fat on it and wrap it in a bandage overnight. In the morning, the splinter will have come out, and it will be on the bacon fat.

You ought to have your own column in the newspapers like Dear Abby and some of that other crap like the Everyday Cheapskate, etc. Can't believe newspapers actually pay people for that rubbish.

Put a piece of duct tape on the splinter and pull.

Comes right out.

This works best on the ones you know are there but can't really see.

Use WD-40. It works on everything else. I imagine it'd somehow work on getting a splinter out also.

I think I will give Dave a ride on the broom....pull a fast brake, get some splinters in his damn ass, take him to see FP who can ducktape his rear, and pull....good times....

I'm confused. On a different post you stated you were the bad witch, but your sister was the good witch.
So if you are the bad witch you better be careful or you might just get a splinter in the sphincter!!

For boils if you take some raw bacon and place over it overnight it will bring the core out so you can drain or pop it ,depending sometime it may take 2 days.
This does work i've had them in areas that you need to go commando for and boy was I happy when those boils were gone. Now of course your hubby will follow you around like a puupy cause you smell like bacon but hey thats fine too:)
