Maybe this could be a place where we share photos from places we've visited. I'm not sure if it will take too much space, so if it's a space hog, we can scrap the idea. What do you think Admin?

Great idea.
I'll post a couple of pics of when I was at Ft Bliss and went to Juarez and took in some of the sights. Can't show what went on in some of the bars/nightclubs though!! =))

Damned if I know. If there is, I'd definitely stay away from it.
The pics I have are from many years ago.

The sky is bluer in Greece...This is the Temple of Poseidon...

The water is bluer in Greece...this is looking down off the side of a cruise ship...

And the "quaintness" of the place is simply, charming....

No, but I did take a group of high school students with me.
It was through EF Tours.

Greece is on our list of places to see. Your pictures are beautiful! What time of year did you go? We are thinking of going Sept of this year but I'm not sure what the weather will be like.

It was June. It was, to date, the most beautiful place I have ever been. (Southern Germany comes in a very close second...)

Ask her if she gets out much. Washington has everything. Mountains, beach, desert, forests, lakes, city and country. On the west side you don't have to worry about dangerous spiders or snakes, and on the east side of the Cascades you don't have so much rain.

Well, if I talked to her, I would ask. Long story, she is not my friend..haha.
But from what I hear...she does enjoy the lakes and all...just not the weather!

Seems like I remember you saying she was in Spokane...I would assume stationed at Fairchild AFB. Yeah, their winter really sucked this year. Talked to my mom this morning...she said it was snowing! God bless Texas!

We have the Hill Country. Ask the locals there - they are mountains.

Yes - the glacier water really is that color - it grinds the rocks to a powder and that turns it this beautiful green.
