Waco (0-5, 0-3) @ Harker Heights (2-4, 2-2)

Friday games (10-11):

Waco Midway (3-2, 3-0) @ Copperas Cove (2-4, 1-3)

Ellison (2-4, 2-2) (V) vs. Shoemaker (3-2, 2-1) (HC)

Killeen (1-5, 1-3) @ Temple (4-1, 3-0)

Heights pulls one out but they were kind of lethargic for a while against Waco, they played without their top offensive player though so that’s what happens.

On to tonight anxious to see Ellison-Shoemaker, that’s the place to be in Killeen. Top total offense vs top total defense in district as of rn. I think the Wolves pull that one out, Killeen has a hard time with Temple and Cove pushes Midway some but the Panthers are too good for them eventually.

I have tickets, but my wife says if it is still cold and wet at kickoff time, we are staying home. Besides, Ellison fans have to sit on the metal bleachers this week.

I will take credit for the win! I told my friends that if we don't get the touchdown in the 4th qrtr that I'm leaving and I remote started my car. We got the td. Then right before the 2nd 4th qtr td I started my car again.:))

Yep... We left at the half because my wife was wet and freezing. The Eagles got greedy in the 2nd quarter when they went after the 2 pointer. Same thing as last week. Lost by a hair. It was close for sure.

With last night's win Shoe now has a good chance at making the playoffs.
