Cove got demolished by #4 Longview, Belton lost and 3-7 Mesquite Horn upset Temple. Only Midway was a winner last night. Normal.

Someone who went to the Temple game said they came out too cocky... And got same handed to them on a platter.:))

I was listening to the Temple game last week on the radio, and one of the broadcast team thought that Temple was "holding back"--the Wildcats 'knew' they were going to the playoffs, so they didn't play to their usual level in that last district game...and besides, as another announcer stated, "why show off EVERYTHING the team does, knowing that the coming playoff opponent has an "advance scouting" team there to see what they can learn from their future opponent's plays?

In all fairness to Mesquite Horn, their record of 3-7 was the result of playing real tough teams prior to Temple.
