Well, Heights kept it close for a quarter. Midway 55, Knights 13 F.

Belton-Killeen will likely decide who hosts their 1st round playoff game. Won't be surprised if Killeen escapes with a W, but boy Belton's tough, l predict they win.

Ellison's defense has been playing better but Temple's gonna put that to the test. Temple should pretty much roll though Ellison may get a few shots in due to them being a big-play or no play type of team with good athletes.

l think this the week for the Grey Wolves so long as they're focused. They've shown signs the past 2 years they just need that 1st win to really move forward. Wolves break the streak this week against Waco High.

Shoemaker 47 Waco 10 F. 7 rushing TDs for the Wolves & only 5 penalties with no turnovers. Dominant performance & great job Grey Wolves! Now they can grow & move forward as a team without the losing streak hanging over their head.

That Ellison-Killeen game in 2 weeks will go a long away towards deciding it. Roos are pretty much in the drivers seat, they just have to win their last 2 games (Ellison & Waco). But if they slip up it could open the door for Cove or possibly Ellison
