Well the gal I married can definitely shoot a rifle... Her favorite being the M16. Driving a standard... Not so good. She used to get staff duty and have to drive a Jeep. That never went very well.

He's not clued into the possibility that he or a trusted male companion is probably NOT going to be around to protect the woman 24/7. For those moments when the man isn't close, she NEEDS to be able to protect herself.
