I thought it was clear that Ellison tried to do too much for their homecoming most of that game. Other than the ghastly penalties Shoemaker's defense played pretty well & did a good job on Ellison's #1 WR & their QB. #8 & #9 when he switched to QB gave em some problems though. Wolves should stick to 1 QB, that switching I think threw em off a bit on offense. Props to Ellison's defense they put pressure on Shoemaker in the 2nd half. The missed extra point & the 2 safeties really were the difference Friday

Belton 28 Killeen 21 F

Shoemaker was able to drive the ball on Cove for the most part it sounds like but a few fumbles & not being able to convert 3 goalline situations got em’. Their defense played well gave Cove’s QB problems, but got worn down a little bit at the end. They’ll get there as a team though I feel it just don’t know exactly when.
