There's a new handgun manufacturer in Temple, Texas called Hudson Manufacturing. The firearm the produce is called the Hudson H-9, a semiautomatic 9mm. The maker claims it combines a 1911 trigger with a steel frame, striker fired and low bore axis for reduced muzzle flip.

I talked to Mr. Hudson at the SHOT show in Vegas last week. A very well made pistol tho a little on the pricey side $1197. retail.
The trigger pull is good with very little creep, that I find in most striker fired pistols, trigger travel is only .115" Only in 9mm for now.
I was impressed with the design and the quality of mfg.
