Tonight's local news reports that there are 44 confirmed cases of H1N1/Swine flu in Bell County. Do you think that is high for flu cases this time of year? I was surprised there were this many confirmed cases.

I don't pay much attention to it anymore. A friend's son was just confirmed positive after he had flu like symptoms for 2 weeks... ya ... so I am guaranteed to be a carrier, but haven't broke out. The incubation period is only 2-4 days so at least you know really quick whether you have it or not.

Well, the way I see it, the flu is the flu. Teach your kids to wash their hands a lot and to cover their cough, etc...If I hid me and my kids from every danger in this world, I would never leave my house.
