Best girls' team from this area since the Cove powerhouse teams of Shereka Wright and Ryane Alexander in the late 90's.

Waco, Tx The #7 ranked Killeen girls beat Skyline Friday night in the area round of the playoffs 53-38.
The Kangaroos led after a defensive first quarter 8-3 and never let up from there. They extended their lead into the half and took control early in the 3rd quarter on their way to a win.
