Probably most are asking "Who?".
Former president of the Yankees, Astros and Giants, all-star third baseman with the Indians. Formed a formidable left side of the Tribe's infield along with Lou Boudreau at SS and helped win the 1948 World Series. Came very close to winning the Triple Crown but was 4 percentage points behind on batting average that year and won the MVP. Retired at 32 in the prime of his career due to back injuries.
