Join us for our annual OCT hike along the same route OCT President CJ Grisham and his son were on back on 16 March 2013 when he was illegally disarmed and arrested. This event galvanized the country and led to the creation of Open Carry Texas. The 2014 event attracted over 50 participants. The hike is a 10-mile hike with places to park along the route for those that can't do the entire hike. We also need drivers to serve as shuttles if you can't walk but want to participate. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the Temple countryside where it all started and see the exact location where the arrest took place. Event takes place rain or shine.
