Dawgs vs Rockwall at Baylor's McLane Stadium, Sat, noon. Doesn't matter where it's played - Dawgs are one and done.
Belton vs Garland, 3:30PM at McLane Stadium. District takes another loss.
Shoemaker vs Rowlett, 7PM, McLane Stadium. Might be a chance for the Grey Wolves.
Others of interest:
Midway vs Tyler Lee, tonight, 7:30PM, McLane Stadium. Midway should roll in this one. I guess Baylor is not playing at home tomorrow. :)
Temple vs A&M Consolidated, tonight in San Marcos (Texas State Bobcat Stadium). If Cove blew out A&M so will Temple.

Cove lost 70-42. No defense at all. They had the lead at one time, 28-17, then fumbles and defense went to crap.
As usual, Jack Welch will state how great they played and how good of a defensive coordinator he has. You score 42 and you should win. You score 55 against Midway like they did and you should win. For the past 5 years their defense has sucked big time. Maybe time to send him packing and find a good defensive coordinator.

Bye bye Belton. Bye bye Salado. No more locals after round 2. Ouch!

I'm surprised we had any get out of the first round.
Hewitt Midway is still in it. Plays Spring in the next round.

Good luck this weekend to a couple area teams playing in the state semis:
Temple plays Austin Vandegrift in the 5-A semis on Sat, Cameron Yoe plays Edna in the 3-A semis tomorrow night.
