Its creator, Eric Mutchler, alas informs me today the name of his new metal 3D printed handgun is not a deliberate shout-out to Reason, despite our early and often coverage of the world of 3D printed weapons in both plastic (http://reason.com/archives/2012/12/12/what-3-d-printing-means-for-gun-rights) and metal (http://reason.com/blog/2013/11/11/first-3d-printed-metal-gun-that-addresse).
