He will be busting his buttons in church tomorrow.

Ellsisons defense has come light years from last season, but has shown a tendency to sit out the first half lately. It is probably the highlight improvement on the team this year. I think Coach Gregory has some good ideas if he will get the other coaches on board.

I think this year is a good example of a "rebuilding" year. Although they do have a tendency to pull out the lost "McBride" playbook every now and again when the passing game is failing.

Another thing they tend to do, if you watch them, is repeat the same sequence in offense the entire game long... Run 2 plays, pass one, and punt. Over and over again. Pretty predictable if you don't mix things up a bit.

I'll go on record now as saying Midway is gonna stomp Cove like they have all the other district competition this year. One of Cove's RB had 94 yards on 4 carries in the first half. He finished the game with 94 yards. It's fine to clear your bench, but you'd better be up by 40 points when you do it. Cove just let up in the second half last night. Can't do that to a good team - you have to be brutal and put the stake in their heart.
