We both have received our licenses this past week, so I am looking at the different options.

Does anyone use the inside the waistband holsters? My son has one and likes it, but I don't know how comfortable it would be.

I'm looking at the King Tuk (http://www.galcogunleather.com/kingtuk-iwb-holster_8_7_1176.html) from Calco.

What about Sneaky Pete (http://www.sneakypeteholsters.com/) holsters? What do you think about them?

sneaky pete makes a dammed good holster......but so do a lot of folks. I was out to guns galore yesterday afternoon and they have a hell of an holster supply and display. if had to buy one today or tomorrow, i'd take my pistol out there and get it.......mac

Holsters are highly individualized items. What works for me may not work for you. I have heard good things about the King Tuk. Like Mac said, try before you buy (or try and then order what you want from cheaperthandirt.com).

I have a Sneaky Pete. It is the most comfortable holster I own but it draws a lot of attention like, "What in the world is that? Are you carrying a purse?" and etc. I just tell them that's where I carry my New Testament and my iPhone. I have an IWB holster which works very well but when I was 35 pounds heavier it put a lot of pressure on my hip. Now it's a lot more comfortable. Like rk103 said, holsters are highly individualized. I have seen you and my guess that you would be ok with an IWB... there is a lot less bulk and no silly questions.

I use the IWB all the time. Comfort? Well I guess it is relative. Nothing is really comfortable when carrying a gun. I have tried many different holsters and I seem to always come back to the simple NRA slide holsters. They can go in or out.

Holsters are highly individualized items. What works for me may not work for you. ..They are not only individualized for the person, but for the gun. I bought one for my wife's pistol. I got a standard, over the counter model for a similar weapon, but I discovered it was meant for something with a longer barrel. Her's is a bit unstable in it. Feels kinda top-heavy. I'll probably replace it with something a bit more custom, this fall.

Crossbreed Holsters Super Tuck Deluxe ISW holster has been a comfortable holster. Others have adapted to their design and made similar holsters.

and they look pretty good. Will probably look into them further,
although I am really looking for shoulder cross draw (for her) or thigh holster (non concealed, for me).

I looked at the Crossbreed and read some reviews that compared them to the King Tuk. Both seem to be very good.

I did order the Sneaky Pete and it should arrive in the mail tomorrow.

The Sneaky Pete came today. I'm pleased with the quality. One thing I was worried about was if it would be in the way of the seat belt in my truck. That's the first thing I tried and I'm happy to say that that is not an issue at all. The magazines with the pinky extension do push out a little on the side, but I don't think it's an issue.

Nice looking holster!

I don't know if any of you guys are already using these holsters or not, but Alien Gear Holsters are taking a strong foothold in the firearms industry for making an affordable, comfortable holster that has an outstanding warranty to back it up. I received one as a birthday present and went from being skeptical about this new company that seemed to good to be true, to a new fan. From what I've seen on other forums, a lot of people are liking these. If y'all are in the market for a new crossbreed, go check them out!

Those look good and are half the price of the Crossbreed and King Tuk.
