What was up with the officials? At times I was wondering if I was watching the same game. Redlands were holding quite a bit and they weren't getting called on it until late into the game. The fumble and the unsportsman like flag to name two. I haven't seen that bad of an officials crew since the second round of last years playoffs.

Congrats, Cru.

Ya, I saw a lot of holding that wasn't called too. I figured that they were just trying to move the game along, which they did since it was over in 2 1/2 hours.

I have to look up the "roughing the kicker when the ball is tipped", rule. Does it matter if the player who ran into the kicker isn't the one who tipped/blocked the kick? The good news is that it didn't matter since it was late in the game.

Rick, I thought the same thing. Here is what I found about roughing the kicker…once the ball is tipped or blocked, roughing the kicker can't be called.

Yep, according to that, they blew that call.

Special teams was fierce today. They had a blocked punt, a partially blocked punt, a punt return for a TD and a blocked field goal.

I hope that this crew doesn't get any more jobs calling games through the rest of these playoffs!

UMHB may be the only college in Texas that won a football game today.
Baylor's getting wiped.
