I, too, LOVE the new Icon. Thank God the Fore Fathers that wanted the turkey as the national bird were out voted. Just would not be the same.

Wasn't that just Franklin who suggested the pragmatic turkey? His excellent legacy is intact as it is, and the eagle was a better choice.
