Folks, for some of you this may be good news, but I have to say I have enjoyed this forum and the bantering back and forth amoungst us. But I will probably just lurk in the future. I won't post anything that might be deleted for any reason.
Most of my posts were tongue in cheek sarcasm just to get folk talking. I never intended to piss anyone off, just having some fun. So I will lurk and only answer when the yellow banner says I haven't posted.

Chief, I think we are all guilty of that one, at any given moment. The problem is that some people, me included, become way to serious on some topics. Sometimes, I guess, we all need to lighten up. The thrill sometimes is to read that sentence that we know will fire someone up, wether it is intentional or not. That is what makes me laugh and giggle like a child. That pure joy of laughter. So Chief, chime in any time you feel like it.

I totaly understand Chief. As you and other may have noticed, I dont post very often anymore for the very same reasons. Many on here have favored status and others have every post blasted and ridiculed. I really like this forum, but i will not post any controversial items anymore.

On second thought, I get blasted on a regular basis and in the past you were one of the major contributors. I stood the heat, so hang in there. It is sometimes all in good fun. So, I do understand your feelings. I have threatened to drop out several times for the same reasons you give. But I'm still hanging around. However, I have decided to shorten my responses because I don't have the time to write and proof long post. I get my head cut off when I get in a hurry and make typos and misspelling, which we all do from time to time. Even Grammar makes a mistake now and then. :))

I have made my peace with your responses toward me and will no longer take them personally. I am who I am and I did the best I could while on the Council. Yes, I have some sour graphs. You didn't approve of me, so I guess I can't satisfy everyone, sorry. But, like I said, I'm at peace with you and will be friendly toward you in the future.

You bashed me when you stated AS A FACT that some people have favored status. You stated that AS A FACT. Here's news to you. Even I moderate myself and when I screw up and or take things too far, I either delete, edit, and have been known to apologize for screwing up.

I am pretty much the only one who does. So excuse the hell out of me for moderating the way I see fit in order to have an open forum and to prevent a free-for-all, there has to be limits.

Wow....I don't understand this at all. If someone's unhappy about the way things are going on a forum, just take a break OR just stop posting permanently. This is supposed to be informative and interactive and enjoyable. A TON of work goes into keeping CTT up and running. Scarlett and Rick (as well as other moderators) spend an unimaginable number of hours making things tick along, and they do a great job.

Every single one of us who posts often have had others criticize us, our posting style, our grammar, our opinions. It's part of the deal on a forum. And when I look around at the way other forums operate, I'm just reminded how great this one is.
