The husband of one of our AP's at Ellison needs a bone marrow transplant. There will be a Bone Marrow Registry event at The First United Methodist Church of Killeen on Saturday, November 12 from 9:00-1:00.
I will upload a flier of this event as soon as I can.

I am on the national registry. It is a simple thing to do, it is a swab inside your cheek. If you cannot make it to the actual event, you can go to www.bethematch.org They will mail you a kit that you mail back and it takes less than 5 minutes. Less than 5 minutes could pair you up and help you save a life.

The over 60 thing is real? My wife teaches at Ellison and would like to participate but just turned 61.

Heck I don't know. All I know is what's on their website. Maybe if they saw my Adonis-like body they'd be willing to waive 10 years. :):))
