Granted, it was only Stephen F. Austin that Baylor demolished in a game called with a couple of minutes left in the third quarter due to lightning.
Griffin was 20 of 22 for 265 yards and 3 TD's, ran 8 times for 78 yards. He now has as many TD's (8) as he does incompletions (8 also).
ESPN analysts now all agree he's the real deal, not just some great athlete playing QB.

You should have grabbed some of that rain up there and brought it back with you.

It was also nice to see that he has his mind set on a future outside of football, if that's the route he decides to take.

Even had a better game against Rice. He has more touchdowns than incompletions. Kid is unreal.

He threw his first interception today, and they lost at Kansas State. Still, 340 yards and 5 TD's.
Baylor needs to find a defense. They won't be able to simply outscore everybody.

That defense looked horrible out there, almost as bad as the "Wrecking Crew's" second half defense!

It's obvious the defense needs to step up. But many teams seem to be lacking in defense the last couple of years. I think the spread offense just creates too many problems for defenses.
