A problem on the horizon -
The Constitution protects a citizen's right to keep and bear arms.
I can see a future with National ID cards, probably with biometric information required. Hell, they may even be "chipped" to allow 24/7 tracking. Maybe they will require citizens be "chipped", with medical records, of course, to prevent identity theft, and to provide for "privacy" guarantees.
Big Brother IS watching, and we are letting him - all in the guise of "national security". We allowed it with the Patriot Act, and it continues to expand.
Watch "V for Vendetta" (my favorite modern movie). It is all coming true.

Guess the illegals will be the only chip free citizens... Oh, they will be illegal, but the lefties will forget that first part and just refer to them as citizens.

The government can spy on whom they want, when they want, for little, if any reason other than a vague suspicion. The NSA has gathered all of our data, and can look at whatever they want to. You can be interrogated without counsel if you are suspected of being a terrorist. On and on. It is an affront to the average US citizen. It IS Big Brother.

There are more articles than those.

Bring on the RFID chips. Most of us already have the means to destroy them in our kitchens.
Some school districts have already tried the chips in student IDs. Those "experiments" haven't turned out very well.
