It's nothing. It's an amazing structure. Worth seeing.
On our way to visit friends in California, we spent a day in Vegas. We visited the big name casinos, but enjoyed Freemont St. more. Didn't spend a dime gambling.
We enjoyed the drive across Nevada much more. Passing through the ghost towns with boarded up silver mines was more memorable than seeing gondolas with people riding in them at the Venetian. But that's just us. The history of a place and picturing what it was like "back then" is intriguing.
Obviously, Vegas has appeal to a lot of people, I get that, and would go back just for the heck of it and I bet you will have a good time.
