There are many shows to be seen. Plus, there is loads of boutique shopping. Of course, there is also Nellis AFB next door. I know the Thunderbirds are headquartered there. If your travel there is not during show season, you might be able to watch a practice session. And don't forget Area 51. You could try to score an official tour.

Best show ever.
Hoover Dam!!!
I go every summer. I like to casino hop. Check out the shops and everything each casino offers. They are all so different and decorated in so many really awesome ways. I tend to stick to the strip. There are a ton of shows. If you go to the Trip Advisor website and type in Las Vegas you will be able to access a very informative forum. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Well if you've never been to Vegas, be sure to explore the OLD strip at least one night. The Fremont Street Experience (light show) is simply incredible.
The Paris has the four sides of Paris food bar that is probably one of the best uffets I have ever been to - and then go to the top of the eiffel tower and watch the fountains at the Bellago and listen to the music while watching. Pretty fantastic!
Thank you and keep 'em coming!
I want to go to Freemont Street (only been once) and I had thought about the Eiffel tower. Those are both activities I want to do.
I also would love to go to Hoover Dam. Wonder how expensive it is for a tour....
Tours are $11.00. http://www.usbr.gov/lc/hooverdam/service/index.html
It looks like getting there could be the expense. I saw one company that charged $60 per person.
I'd rent a car and go on my own.
When I was driving truck, I drove over it and the road on the Vegas side is so tight, that you had to call on hte CB to make sure another truck wasn't coming down the hill before going up because there wasn't room for two trucks on the turns. Fun stuff.
Someone once said that Vegas is for Vegasing!!!!! woohoo!!
Thank you for the link. I appreciate the time spent looking.
