I suggest a mod that shows the last topic posted to on the board index.
It's an easy mod to install, and made for phpBB3 and the proSilver theme.
Since for at least the last day phpBB.com has been down, I've attached the mod.

It sure helps on other boards I've seen.

I installed it, must have missed something since I don't see a difference. Can you link me to another board that has it? I saw the Mod Author's board, but this one doesn't look like it. I may have to wait until PHPBB gets their board back up and get the latest.

It works on the Prosilver, but not yet on the redsilver.

Hmm, don't know why it wouldn't be compatible.
Did you do the mod on the redsilver templates as well?
