I'm the same way KK. Last month, I almost didn't go after Scarlett had a situation to attend to and had to cancel. I am glad I went though. Met some new people who weren't at the last one.
Try it once, it'll be ok.
Or you could show up, sit elsewhere, spy on us and see that we are quite the normal bunch, then join in...LOL
