Henry .44 side gate loading lever action

So I finally did the deed and ordered my new Henry .44 lever action, side gate loading, rifle. I've been looking at them for a LONG time, even before they added the side gate loading feature. I want it more for a varmint/hog rifle and just all around fun shooting. I have a multitude of other options for home and personal defense.

    Thoughts?

I just looked those up. They look nice.

I have the 44 magnum Big Boy and it is fun to shoot.

The side gate really looks convenient.

    Henry's are awesome.

I need to sell my guns... except my home protection stuff. Anyone interested in An AK 47, or a 5.56/223 Rock army arsenal M-16 type or a .45 also from rock army arsenal, give me a shout. or just PM me.

Where is a good place to buy bulk ammo? I have bought .223 ammo in bulk from Academy and Cabela's when it was on sale but I need .45, 9MM, .40, .380, and .44.

Well, I have a bunch of .223 and 5.56 Nato... but someone is coming by to get the M-16 I'm selling so he will probably get the ammo too.

If it is a Henry, it must be good.

I assume it is chambered for 44 Mag, as I have never seen one chambered for 44 Special.

If you are like me, and getting a little slower at focusing on the front site, you might want to put a Red Dot scope on it.

The 44 carbine should be accurate beyond 100 yards, and if you can put the round on target, it still has a lot of punch out beyond 500 yards. But, at that distance, you need a regular scope.

Otherwise, my thought is just enjoy it.

    Were are you?
I mean, if you were in Northern AR, I would know exactly where to send you.

If you are still in Centex area, I believe there is a good gun store in Georgetown or maybe Round Rock, that specialists in selling to cops and veterans.
I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.

Mine is chambered for both. Stamped on the barrel.
