Northeast Ohio
I had to go to Ohio last weekend so I decided to take my drone and gey some video and pictures of the local scenery.
The county is famous for its covered bridges, Lake Erie. There happened to be a freighter in port due to a fire and it's going to be scrapped.
And the connecting flight took me to JFK, so I had a great view of the city.
Here are some shots.

I am glad you had the opportunity to take some good pictures. The covered bridges are pretty. NYC is a hole...

That bridge is the Mechanicsville bridge. One place we lived was just up the hill and we would swim under that bridge. It is open for traffic, but it's available for rent. My sister's class held their class reunion in the bridge.
My cousin, her husband, and I had lunch at one that was moved and turned into a restaurant called Covered Bridge Pizza Parlor. Great stromboli.
Here's a link about the county's bridges. https://visitashtabulacounty.com/thi...vered-bridges/

I agree! But from a few thousand feet, like the rest of this country, it's a beautiful sight.

Love the pictures. It sure is beautiful country up there. I've always enjoyed the covered bridges! Mechanicsville seems like my type of town.

The lake harbor pictures are from Conneaut, where I was born.
The sunset, Ashtabula.
I grew up in Geneva. Which is famous for being the birthplace of R. E. Olds and a resort town, Geneva on the Lake. Oh and wineries. They have sprouted up all over. Good wine too.
Mechanicsville is pretty much the bridge. It's on the edge of Amish country.
