My wife, in the nursing home in Copperas Cove, hit me up for some Golden Chick fried catfish today. I would love to oblige her, but by the time I got it and delivered it, it would be cold.

I keep a cooler in the truck. When getting carry-out, it stays hot until I get home. I think the closest Golden Chick to Cove is on Fort Hood Road.

We had a tray of fish left and if we don't take it, it gets thrown away. And it's too good to throw away.

We were going to Sam's this morning, so dropping it off wasn't out of our way.

Well, it was my dinner tonight with some mashed potatoes and porky beans. The fish was spiced perfectly, and anyone who doesn't try it is really missing out on a treat.
