Who is the liar?

On Monday, June 20, Dr. Ashish Jha, the White House's COVID-19 response coordinator, said, "there have not been any serious side effects of these vaccines."

According to Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine at Stanford University, "There is a well-documented risk of myocarditis from the vaccines, especially in young men and adolescent boys, and an elevated risk of clotting in young women with the Moderna vaccine. It's not right for government scientific advisers to downplay documented risks of the vaccine because it ultimately undermines confidence in public health."

As for me, I have long ago lost my confidence in anything that comes from the White House.

The key is "serious side effects"...
Inflammation of the heart? Probably "not serious". If it doesn't cause immediate death or incapacitation, then it's not "serious". Anything that causes some medical condition that can't be alleviated by medication or some surgical procedure? Possibly "serious".
When Viagra was first sold, one of the side effects was "possible blindness"...well, is THAT serious?
(Viagra is a modification of a heart medication, in which a possible side effect was...prolonged erections. NOT a "serious" side effect....

Yet they found all sorts of side effects for hydroxy... A drug many have safely taken for over 50 years. I thing we used to get a regular dose of something very similar in VN to help with some of the local viruses.

Lots of serious side effects. Some buried, most ignored.
A lot of the deaths were marked as death from something else.

If the patient didn't exhibit side effect in less that 20 minutes, chances began to accumulate, that they could blame it on something else. That is what happens when you have corporate interests driving medicine, pretending to be science.

Yep. It is a safe drug, always has been. Not that there is no possibility of side effect, but the rate of side effects was lower than quinine, which it partially replaced. (Quinine is pretty safe too, about the same as aspirin, over the long haul.)

It no longer make any difference to me, but there are still some people on CTT that may be concerned.

A peer reviewed study explored the impact of Pfizer vaccinations on male fertility among semen donors, and found large decreases in sperm counts among men after the second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine, with the decline continuing for over five months in many cases. The study’s cross-tabs show that after 150 days sperm concentration was nearly 16 percent lower than men’s baseline and that total motile count (TMC) was nearly 20 percent below. The study also attempts to “spin” the data and present it in the best possible light by focusing on the median parts of the data, and not the average, which is more telling.

But that only means that there will be a lot of irresponsible young men out there who will try and use that as an anti paternity suit excuse for what they do.

But that is OK, since the women they have sex with will all probably say something like "I want to abort this kid while I still can because I was raped". Rape being when they discover that the result of their sex is a baby coming due.

My daughter got the Covid shots and 9 months later was diagnosed with MS after she went to the doctor due to numbness at the waist. Now three times a week she has to stab herself with some really expensive #### in order to stay upright and mobile. Her kids aren't vaxxed and as long as no one requires it, they wont be. I feel like a real POS for urging her to get it.

You did what you thought was right.

No one should feel guilty for that.

We all have those kinds of things in our past:
the ones we spend our lives "second guessing ourselves about."

No one knows how such a decision will turn out.
