The girlfriend just surprised me with an all weekend trip to Texas Motor Speedway. A few highlights:

- We will be getting there when the track opens tomorrow morning to see the Cup Car Haulers come in
- I'll be walkin the pits, checking out the garages, hopefully meeting a few drivers
- Catch the XFinity race
- There will be a Human Cannonball being launched at different times throughout the two races
- I WILL GET TO DRIVE MY TRUCK ON THE TRACK
- Blake Shelton will be hosting a 1 hr concert
- 7-11 will be unveiling a supercar with chances to win a diecast
- Catch the Cup race
- Get to see a daytime AND night time race in the same weekend
- Blake Shelton will announce the "start your engines", Greg Abbot will be there to wave the green flag (Is the flag stand wheelchair accessable?)
- She was working with a track rep who was able to get us seats with very good shade for the daytime race. It's right near pit road exit, angled toward the start/finish line - it's a really good location from what I can tell
