Yep. One win in a dozen games. They race for the Cellar every year, and it is mostly for want of pitching and hitting. These guys can hit when they want to, but I don't blame them for not scoring runs since their bullpen gives away the games in the late innings. I mean, why bother, right?
Still, as much as I hate the Yankees it is always good to see the game set a new record no matter which team does it. Their starting pitcher set a new Yankees record for season strikeouts as well last night with # 248.

Actually, I am proud of the Rangers for pitching to him. Prior to the series he was walked 12 times and at least the Rangers pitcher said here it is, try and hit it. A leadoff home run. Congratulations. The Rangers issues aside, they play ball, just not very well. I wish it would get better.

Well, Tinoco will always be the guy who threw him the "peach" he knocked out of the park for #62. He did do a great job that day, despite the home run, the Rangers pulled out a rare win. So #62 aside, it all comes down to the final number on the board at the end of the game.

The Guardians beat Tampa Bay today. It was a lot closer than I likes.

It's the playoffs, it's supposed to be close.
I enjoyed watching the game and how the crowd in Cleveland is so into it.

There have been a lot of one run games this year for some reason. Either pitching is getting better or hitting is doing worse.
