Fans..(fanatics)
I have always wondered why fans would pay the large amounts of money they do to go to pro football games when they could sit in the comfort of their own homes and see the game much, much better...while being much more comfortable, without all of the hastle.
Tickets for the 49ers, Rams game tomorrow cost right at $600 for a ticket to the game. ...Parking costs another $300 in the parking lot. Parking at a nearby high school....$175, parking at some homes near the stadium....$300.
For one person to go to the game and park, maybe get a couple of refreshments...close to $1000. Crazy.

I don't know anyone who has that kind of disposable income tbh. I know I'll never pay that kind of money to watch a bunch of spoiled, entitled, social justice warriors play a kids game.
Let's Go Brandon!

There is one guy I went to high school with, started his own investment business out in Kalifornia, goes to 3 or 4 Packers games every year. Flies from LA to Wisconsin for the weekend, and goes to the game. He goes to all the playoff games the Packers are in, regardless of where they are. He had end zone seats when the Packers were in the Super Bowl a few years ago.

I have been to a Chiefs game in Dallas, Houston and this past November FINALLY Arrowhead and all were a great time. I usually get the cheapest seats but for the Chiefs game at Arrowhead against the Cowgirls my son and I decided to splurge. We were able to get tickets that were almost $700 each for a total of $700 for 2. Me being a huge Chiefs fan and him being unable to pick a great football team jumped on it. Parking was $40 and we were invited to a small tailgate (maybe 50 people) that was put on by a fan group I am apart of. Sneed's family was even at that tailgate! The picture is a view from our seats.
For Christmas my son got us court side seats for the Spurs and Heat game (me Spurs him Heat ) and we will be attending that game this coming Thursday.
I will continue attending games when I get the chance but seats like the ones mentioned above are probably a 1 time thing and I will go back to the cheap seats.

X,..Sounds like between your music concerts and sporting events, you really love enjoying life. That's really great...(and great you have the time and can afford it )
Just one thing.. I used to really enjoy seeing the Spurs a few years ago, my brother used to get free tickets from his company, but since they lost those players they had, and Pop decided he was going to be the liberal spokesman he fancies himself to be...I just can't care about the Spurs anymore...

I've always gone to the local venue monster truck shows, so after I sold my house I decided to splurge and go catch Monster Jam (the show is next weekend ). I felt bad going from $30 VIP tickets for local shows to $125 tickets for Monster Jam plus extra for the pit party! Seeing how much people are paying for NFL tickets has me thinking maybe Monster Jam isn't so bad after all.

Don?t go to very many sporting events but I do love that and live music! Just got home from the Parker McCollum concert at the expo. That place was sold out. Sure was nice to be in a crowd of a thousand or 2!
I miss the days of Parker (named my dog after him, Ginobli and Duncan but I still enjoy a good game. I could care less about Pops political leanings, I don?t go to see him and his beliefs don?t effect my enjoyment of the game.

In 2006 my wife and I played Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco. a little over 500 for two with cart. Then we headed south and played the Bayonet Course on old Fort Ord, another 300 together. Didn't do Pebble Beach, that was 625 per person, tee times 6 months in advance maybe one day. It's all about what you enjoy and what makes you smile and complete "Just once " list. Don't like the bucket term. We would like to head to South Dakota and play the course on the Air Force Base there, it has Mount Rushmore as the backdrop, think that would be neat. In 1997 we went to the Cowboys-Broncos Thanksgiving Day game. 99 dollars for 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 cokes and parking. Times have changed just slightly....

In 2008, my daughter was in the marching band, and they had a competition at the AstroDome.
Admission was free, if I recall, but 2 pretzels, 2 hotdogs and 2 drinks cost $50.

Well, I just paid about $2,000 for flight, hotels and rental car in Ohio for the Stagg Bowl to see UMHB whoop up on North Central, so am I crazy?
Of course, I am from northeast Ohio and the trip allowed me to spend a day visiting my aunt, so it wasn't all about being a UMHB fanatic. I knew I would see some friends I sat near for the past six years. Their son played and then spent the last two years as a student coach, so it was nice to see them too.
I do get good seats when I go to an Indians game. Yes, a Cleveland Indians game. I am not using the "G" word. I know, to the woke mob, that makes me a racist. It's funny, in 1988, I took my grandfather to see his last Indians game. I had no idea that it was the equivalent of going to a Klan meeting.
