I am not a lurker in a voyeuristic way, I just listen more than I post. Sometimes it is because I generally agree, sometimes I don't think its worth an argument. I do enjoy the forum and will try to contribute more. Thanks to all for years worth of enlightenment, entertainment, education, and a little angst.

I think that it would be best if some of us provide a POC that could be contacted, in our stead.
Mine would be my pastor. He and I never car pool, so, unless ISIS blows up my Church (or the Rapture come'th), we shouldn't depart this world on the same day.

I have been thinking that I am not the only one who doesn't answer their phone (actually, it made the news a few weeks ago) due to too many robo calls and other annoyances. I provided my info, and my pastor's info, to two people (that I trust) who are geographically separated, and I recommend the same for others.

I used to play golf every morning when i first retired in 2001. I was the puppy, newbie, cherry and had a blast with the old guys. i learned sadly that when one day one doesn't show up, you don't ask. One morning I asked where Bob Laabs was. He was a real cantankerous piece of work, but loved him, he made me laugh always, and one night he just up and passed. Then Les Lane, Don Stevens, Richard Drake, the list goes on....Fast forward to 2020 and one day at the golf course I was approached and asked if I wanted to move my cart to the top barn. Of course I jumped at it and when I rolled it into the very first spot that had been occupied by Ray Ambrozak forever, I accidentally asked "Well what happened to Ray?"...he is still with us but surgery age etc has caused him to cease playing. In this forum alone, in my short time, i have seen, IIRM, Dave and Larry pass. I hope the best for Mac, but I know he is on the road march to heaven. Hope Owl and Glock are ok too......
