Odd how this topic about the Olympics evolved into one about teaching.
I'll fix it later. Things with shoulder have gone sideways this past week.

Kant, ...analogy and similitude ?? .
..France beating the USA...shameful..in so many respects.
Why is it shameful? France played a better game.

I'm sitting here watching three, fixed gender, basketball in the Olympics. What the heck is going on. What will be next? Maybe street skateboarding.

The only thing I've seen of the Olympics so far is the road cycling events.
I'll probably look for a recap of the triathlon.
And maybe the marathon at the end.
I don't think I need to watch any of the other events.

Rick, I hope you feel better soon.

I am following women's softball. Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott after all these years are still amazing pitchers. Of course I will follow golf later this week and the wife an I also enjoy watch8ng gymnastics. Other than that....more than I thought really.

We watched the end of the triathlon yesterday. That guy from Netherlands took off....

I heard he hurled at the end, too. That's putting it all out there.

I saw the start of the men's tri earlier - with the false start caused by the boat in front of the start line. Crazy.

I was looking at the Medal count and noticed that the Republic of Croatia is doing quite well this time around.

US softball team lost 2-0 to Japan. Good game and a reason why the US and Japan have been swapping #1 and #2 in the world spots for years. Also learned Monica Abbott has been a pitcher in the Japan professional women's softball league for the last 13 years. Now, I am not a bright person, but one would think those girls have seen quite a bit of her over the years.....oh well, golf starts Wednesday.
