Prayers for your recovery. Rest well.
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets" - Mathew 22:37-40 (KJV)

All went well and I'm home. Surgery took a little over 4 hours, or so I've been told. I had to arrive 3 hours early which meant be there at 0530 and went into surgery at 0800, recovery was 3 hours and was was discharged, not that one kantwin, at 1530. Home around 1600 and now I'm watching bowl games. Zero U, aka Oklahoma U, is trashing Flordia.
When I spoke with the dr he cut out the large knot and found another smaller one underneath. The lab reported he got clean edges on the large knot and have sent the smaller out for testing.
Im going ok. I'm on soups and liquids until Monday and then can eat semi solid foods. Have a follow up on the 7th so should hear more then.
Other than all that I'm currently pain free and doing great.
Thanks everyone for the PRAYERS and well wishes.
I've been extremely fortunate over my life. This is only the second surgery I've endured. The first was an emergency appendectomy decades ago.
This forum is full of good people, even swimmer is a good guy. Thanks Rick for doing this for us.

"Liquids"? Some people I knew would consider that to be in "12-ounce bottles". Can't risk larger containers of liquid grain...

Co-worker of mine years ago said that.

Get well soon my friend... I know how it feels to be operated on, and thankfully, you have only had to do that a couple of times. I will be praying for you.
