Now that the election is over and Harris/Biden are in office, how about closing this thread. It's becoming filled with issues which deserve the attention of their own thread, IMHO.

I understand that Pete Butt boy has called for a massive tax hike on pump gasoline. Why am I not surprised?

As at least one Conservative on the radio noted in recent days, the U.S. WAS 'energy independent' during the Trump years. Now, it seems that the new Administration doesn't like that idea, so now we are going to be importing oil from places like Venezuela...and Syria...
Those countries ought not to be getting our money until some semblance of a regime change occurs in those places.
AS for gas prices rising...it's been part and parcel of the Liberal agenda for years. Gas costs more, resulting in less "freedom to move about the country", fewer "gas-guzzlers" on the road, etc,

Naaah... It is always about taking more tax dollars with democrats. They have to get their money to give away to buy votes with. Nothing better than getting from a place where people have no choice but to pay up or stay home.

it's even worse than that. today during that "executive orders dog and pony yesterday, he also directed his new sec'y of the treasury to spread 4 billion dollars to the Central American States (Guatemala, Honduras, el Salvador, Nicaragua. what happened to Belize, Panama and Costa Rico you ask......nothing, zip, nada........friends get nothing. haters get 4 billion.......makes me want to throw up!....mac

More than just energy independent, Gnat. Hells bells, we were huge exporters......a lot of those big bucks coming into the treasury for our oil and natural gas are gonna dry up real fast as soon as the President carries through his plans to quit fracking and the like....we'll be once again an energy importer, not exporter..... mac
