No college football this fall?
From some news reports from ESPN and others, the Big 10 is ready to cancel this fall's football season. If that happens, it seems more than probable that the other Power 5 schools will also cancel. ...SEC is key conference, according to most observers.
It seems right now that players are split on whether to play or not. If this does happen , economic impact on universities, cities, and more will be tremendous.

You know, there was a time when I would have cared about this but that time has passed. College football players are nothing more than spoiled, entitled, pampered prima donnas who have EVERYTHING handed to them and still complain that a free college education is not enough "compensation." A college education mind you that most would never be able to get on their own due to financial issues, and in most cases, issues pertaining to intellect.

Reports are that the B1G canceled.
Several D3 conferences postponed until spring. We'll see.

Yep... Just saw it on TV... Big 10 cancels season. Oh well, guess I will have to watch something else on Saturday besides guys high fiving and jiving in the end zone.
Wonder about the rest of the divisions. Perhaps if one team holds out they will become the champs by default.

I love college football and will miss it! But maybe these players will spend more of their time on their coursework this fall and prepare for an alternative to the NFL.

Mid Atlantic and PAC 12 have cancelled their seasons. The other ones should follow suit tomorrow.

BUT WHAT IF...there's a vaccine for the coronavirus revealed tomorow? CAN the games be put back on the schedule?
Would like to think that SOME games will go on, even if the conferences shut down. A year without Alabama vs. Auburn, or Michigan v. Ohio State...
Then again, Texas vs. Texas A&M died...

The Cowboys are being super strict about preventing the virus from coming in, but...what if they come in from practice one day and one or two test positive for the virus? How many players would have to be quarantined, for how long?
In the Cherokee school district in Georgia, more than 250 students and teachers were placed in quarantine after one week of opening a school in the school district . As of the first Friday over a dozen students and teachers tested positive for the virus in the one school district, including a second grader........All in all the Cherokee County School District had over 925 quantined after the first week of school.
My question ..what is the protocol for the Cowboys if they come in from practice on a Friday, or even a Monday, ...and have one or two players test positive before the game on Sunday?...Everyone goes on about their business??.... or...game cancelled if any positives? All players quarantined for x amount of days or no quarantine?
Wonder if colleges and pros have same protocols, or is each school and each pro team different?

How many professional sports figures have been hospitilized with CV 19? Before anyone breaks their brain looking for it, it was answered last night. The number is zero.
I suggest many of the holdouts take up teaching... It doesn't pay nearly as much, but you get to get a paycheck while sitting around the house all day.
Maybe run for office where one can make more for doing zip.
