UPDATE: Per Team Penske, "Zach Price, rear tire changer for the No. 12 Menards/Atlas Ford Mustang, was treated and released from Methodist Hospital. He will travel back to North Carolina with the team for further evaluation."

ORIGINAL POST: Zach Price, Ryan?s Blaney?s rear tire changer was transported to an Indianapolis hospital for further evaluation after being hit on pit road.

Several cars stacked up coming onto pit road on lap 14 during the competition caution. Brennan Poole made contact with Price, pinning him against the #12 Ford.

The race was red flags to attend to Price. He gave a thumbs up before being loaded in the ambulance to be taken to the infield care center prior to being sent to the hospital.
