Yep, Nolan Creek runs from west to east, Killeen being about 170 feet higher than Temple.

Think they got reelected thanks to their Good Hard Working Friends network in...the east side of the County. Totally different bunch of folks than Killeen's GHWF club.
Sometimes, Temple and/or Belton voters "march to the beat of a different drummer". Lange's biggest opponent was a...black Killeen PD officer? Well, that's at least two strikes against him, over there in the east side...

Then there's the foiks in Troy and Rogers, and Bartlett, or even Salado.
That was Lange's only opponent and he is unopposed in the general. Hell, west Bell county is so forgotten, Lange didn't even put election signs up in the area this year.

Although, I will give credit where it is due. He did respond to my email when I complained about someone's cows destroying my hay field.

Garza was unopposed in the primary and I don't think he is opposed in the general. People must be happy with sweetheart deals given to career criminals.

Wrong! Temple is downhill from Killeen........
I figured with the big ol' Nolanville hill that Killeen was lower elevation. I was wrong.

I tried living in Temple one year. Biggest bunch of snobs I ever encountered.

Temple's real name is 'Tanglefoot'. It was originally a rail road camp full of criminals, whores, and railroad workers. It was named Tanglefoot because the black dirt mud would tangle your boots up in muck.

Back in the day it had two stores. Krogers and K-Mart. Oh and a TG&Y.

All my children were born at Scott&White. My dad died there.

As for being snobs. I don't know about that. It's the easiest place in the central Texas metroplex to get arrested. Nobody has time to be a snob. Too busy asking around for bail.

    Back to politics:
Greg Gutfeld recently observed, on his Fox News show, that the final two Democratic candidates are..the "two old guys from 'The Muppet Show'!?!

It's hard to tell whether the problem with the tangled feet was from the mud or from the liquor. No need to be bashful. Temple was also known as Mudville, Ratsville, and Prairie Queen. It became Temple when they finally got a post office in 1881.

After last night, looks like Bernie needs to concede. He and his "bros" just can't seem to get the idea that we don't want to be a socialist country, even if we could afford it (which we can't).

So Uncle Joe is promising a woman VP. I am betting on Amy Klobuchar, but Kamala Harris may be the pick, as well. Unless he considers Pete Buttigieg as an acceptable substitute.

And Joe has promised to name a black woman to the Supreme Court.
Geeez...every black female judge in America is now working on their resumes...

As Larry Elder (black Conservativer) noted on his radio show yesterday, "do you think Biden will consider a CONSERVATIVE woman for either position?"

Hmmm...Anita Hill was a lawyer,..AND she's Black...would make for an interesting work environment, having her sit next to Justice Thomas...
