Gibbs Teams Cheating Again
Gee, what else is new from the cheat kings of NASCAR.
Hamlin got caught last week. Shocking. Not!
https://racingnews.co/2020/02/21/nas...otor-speedway/
All Toyota teams were hit with an infraction during pre-practice inspection. The exception is Daniel Suarez, who was the only car to pass without issues.
All Joe Gibbs Racing machines failed the same portion of inspection. NASCAR stated they used bondo to modify the body shape.
-No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Denny Hamlin.
-No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Kyle Busch
-No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Martin Truex Jr.
-No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Erik Jones.
-No 95. Leavine Family Racing (Joe Gibbs Racing affiliate) car driven by Christopher Bell.
Each of these teams were penalized in the opening practice session. That sat out the first 15 minutes of the session. Hamlin was forced to sit out the first 15 minutes in addition to the last 15 min.

Maybe you have a point. Just like he and his clueless and classless, owner and team were the only ones who didn't know that there was a serious situation involving Ryan Newman because all that mattered to them was celebrating. "Wow, look at all those ambulances down there flashing their lights helping us celebrate. They must really like us."
Of course he knew he was cheating. The whole team knows that they are cheating. Their cheating is obviously systemic and until there are real consequences, it'll continue.

This week it's Truex. Couldn't pass inspection, his "punishment" didn't have to qualify, but still allowed to race. Go figure.
Maybe it's time to load them up and send them home after three failed attempts. I would hate it if it happens to my preferred drivers, but I'm guessing that with real consequences, these "professionals" will be able to figure it out.

Hamlin had to start at the rear today too but kindof doubt if it had anything to do with body modification or cheatin'.....mac

Why is it that damn near all the other teams can pass inspections and Gibb's so called, professionals can't?
NASCAR is too lenient and needs real punishment. Truex started at the rear and is running up front. Some punishment.

Do you have evidence of this cheating? Im sure NASCAR would like to see your evidence.
my guess they are trying to make their cars better and try to get as close to the legal edge as possible.

Um, NASCAR has the evidence since they were "punished" all three weeks so far this season. If they were simply following the rules, and just getting, as you say, "close to the legal edge," then there wouldn't be "punishments" now would there?
If they were simply, "close to this legal edge" they would have passed. No. Mr. fake religion Gibbs is over the legal edge and cheating and getting caught and it's time for real punishment.
