Astros Cheating
What do you all think about the Astros getting busted for cheating and the prospect of a bean ball 2020 season in retaliation? And how come no players got nailed? that is what really gets me, like it was only management driven…..apparently the A's were the first to discover it and were told nah, that cant be happening.....

Stealing signals of the opposite team has been part of Baseball for as long as I have known the game. Why are they making it a big deal with the Astros?

Cheating is cheating. Whether it has been done in the past doesn't make it right today.

but it wasn't cheating till a bunch of fat cats made it cheating......sort of if tomorrow, a bunch of folks said, "well, now we're gonna make disallowing signalling from the catcher. makes just about as much sense to me. the whole thing is crazy. "Play Ball"!.........as far as i'm concerned signalling and the (so called) stealing of signals shouldn't be either, allowed or disallowed.........mac

As usual, you are being obtuse in order to try to support your team's cheating. They can steal signs, it's the use of technology to do it that is not permitted. Not hard to understand.
A guy on second base can look at the catcher give a sign to the batter, he just can't use a video camera to do it.
Not really hard to understand.
The Astros and Red Sox should start own league and have their own rules. Or lack of.

Because of the fact that they were using technology to do it. It's the rules they play by. If they don't want to play by the rules, they should start a league with different rules.
Players should have been punished for their part in the scheme.
But I know, people on this forum love cheaters. They stick up for them in NASCAR and certainly, Texas bandwagon jumpers will support Texas teams for cheating.
It's funny the cheatstros owner said that they didn't get an advantage. So, why did they do it?

One of the reasons I hate the Patriots also. My wife calls them "Cheater weaters with a crybaby coach.... Methinks she is correct.

The other teams are pissed because they didn't think of it first. If other teams had thought of it first then they might be World Series champions.
I don't think technology was swinging the bats to hit the ball. Nope, the batters had to swing the bat, the only advantage they had was they knew what pitch was coming.
